Sean Fanning Scenic Designs
Sean Fanning is a San Diego-based set designer specializing in scenic design for the stage.

Upcoming work: Dirty Blonde, Man of La Mancha, and Mistakes Were Made (Cygnet Theatre, Old Town), The Beaux Stratagem (University of San Diego), and Pippin (Diversionary Theatre). He is the Resident Design Assistant for the Old Globe, and a Resident Artist at the Cygnet Theatre.

Recent designs: Parade, Little Shop of Horrors, Cabaret, Tragedy of the Commons (World Premiere), The Norman Conquests, Sweeney Todd (Cygnet Theatre), A Raisin in the Sun (Moxie Theatre), Walter Cronkite is Dead (San Diego Repertory Theatre), Plaid Tidings and KINGDOM (The Old Globe).

Sean holds an MFA in Scenic Design for Theatre, Television, and Film from San Diego State University, and a B.A. in Technical Theatre from Sonoma State University.
